Prism encoders now support Multi-Track Audio encoding, enabling you to select the number of channels and assign audio tracks to the outputs. When Multi-Track mode is disabled on the encoder, the decoder outputs only one track which contains either Mono, Stereo, 5.1, or 7.1 channel audio.
Multi-Track Audio enhances your live streaming experience by enabling the inclusion of different audio options in a single stream, making your content more accessible to a diverse audience. Instead of managing multiple live streams with separate video and audio, you can streamline the setup and reduce bandwidth by using one video stream with multiple audio tracks. You can switch between audio tracks directly in the Prism Decoder web UI. Multi-Track Audio configuration is available on Prism Encoders and Decoders in Next-Gen or Standard Mode and can be applied to point-to-point, or Core Cloud streaming.
