Essential system functions, including password reset, SSL/TLS certificates and License uploads, password reset, and date & time can be performed from the System menu in the web UI.
Security

Use the Security settings to manage encryption, remote access, and device authentication for your Prism. These options help protect data transmitted over the network and control who can access the device.
- HTTPS - Enable HTTPS to upload SSL/TLS certificates and encrypt any data transmitted over the Internet. Note: HTTPS needs to be enabled before uploading certificates.
- Snapshot - Enable/Disable Public Snapshot. Public Snapshot allows you to access snapshots via HTTPS.
- Apps - Enables or disables access from Teradek Apps via the network
- Device Password - Change or reset the device password. Note: User-configured passwords have length and character restrictions.
Date & Time
Use the Date & Time settings to configure the device’s clock and synchronization.

- Local Date and Time - Displays the device’s current local time.
- UTC Date / Time – Shows the coordinated universal time equivalent.
- Time Zone – Selects the time zone used for the local clock.
- NTP Server – Specifies the network time server used to automatically synchronize the device’s clock.
Bluetooth
Use the Bluetooth settings to manage wireless connectivity and pairing security.

- Bluetooth - Enable or Disable Bluetooth
- Encryption - Enable or Disable Encryption
- Set pin - Establish a security pin
Stream Presets

Manage any stream presets created in the Streaming menu. Stream Presets can be imported, exported, or deleted.

GPS
Use the GPS settings to monitor satellite location data and enable positioning through the selected modem.

- Satellites Used (num_sat) - Displays the number of satellites currently connected. Displays None when the status field is empty

Coordinates (latitude, lat_hemisphere, longitude, lon_hemisphere)
- Values will be in degrees, which are converted from the 4 statuses mentioned above
- Displays Not Locked when any of the 4 statuses are empty
- Modem 3 – Enables or disables GPS functionality on Modem 3.
Display
Use the Display settings to adjust screen brightness, orientation, power behavior, and security options.

- Display Brightness - Adjusts the brightness level of the device's display.
- Display Invert Timeout - Sets the interval before the screen automatically switches between light and dark modes.
- Display Off Timeout - Sets how long the display stays on before turning off automatically.
- Flip Display - Rotates the display orientation
- Lock Display - Locks the display to prevent accidental touches or changes.
- Lock Timeout - Sets the amount of idle time before the touchscreen automatically locks
Battery
Displays the device's current power source and charging status.

- Source - Indicates the active power input (DC or battery).
- State - Shows whether the battery is charging or discharging.
