Prism decoders now support pulling streams directly from Core Share Workspaces and Teradek TV Projects, enabling Prism to decode and output these streams in their original format for display on your computer monitor, TV screen, projector, or phone.
NOTES
- This feature is only available in Next-Gen Mode, not Standard Mode.
- The Decoder License on Prism Encoders will not support Teradek Cloud for the 2.21 firmware release.
CORE SHARE
Before you link your Prism Decoder to Core Share, ensure a Core workspace and code have been shared. Click here for instructions on how to generate a share code via Core.
LINK DECODER
1. To link your decoder, open the email you received from Core Share and copy the share code.
You can link your decoder to either Core Share or Teradek TV by logging in to Core Share through a Core Comms account (see Core Comms). Note that this is for viewing purposes only, not for controlling.
2. From the decoder web UI, open the Ingest tab and select Teradek Cloud as the Ingest mode. Click Save.
3. Select Core Share as the Cloud Service, then click Save.
After selecting a different Cloud Service (either Teradek TV or Core Share), you must click Save; otherwise, the labels and parameters from your previous selection will remain unchanged.
4. Click the Link this Device tab.
5. Enter your email address and paste the copied share code you received. Click Next to select an Organization.
6. Select a shared Workspace, then select either Streams or Recordings as your Source. Click Save.
- STREAMS: Tap the Streams tab, then select an encoder from the Streams drop-down menu.
- RECORDINGS: Tap the Recordings tab, then select a file from the Recordings drop-down menu.
