Serv 4K's web UI Maintenance menu offers a comprehensive suite of tools to manage essential system functions, including factory resets, upgrading firmware, and generating detailed diagnostic reports.
System Info
Displays Serv 4K’s model and serial number, along with the following configurable options
- Restart Encoding Service: Restart the encoding process in your Serv 4K device
- Restart Decoding Service: Restart the decoding process in your Serv 4K device
- Force Restart Codec Services: Restart the encoding and decoding services without restarting the device.
- Reboot Device: Restart Serv 4K
Firmware
Check for new updates and upgrade Serv 4K’s firmware to the latest version. If an update is available, follow the prompts to complete the firmware update. You can also manually install a firmware update file.
Factory Reset
Restore Serv 4K's Broadcast, Network, or All Settings to their original state.
Diagnostics
Diagnostics are located under the System tab in your Core account along with the firmware version (see below).
Utilites
Select tools like speed and ping tests to assess the device's network performance, ensuring optimal connectivity and stream stability.
- Test Type:
- Speed Test: Assesses the device’s upload speed and overall network bandwidth performance.
- Ping: Test the network connection between the encoder and a remote server or device, measuring latency and assessing its stability.
- Interface: Select a connected network's interface to test.
