Custom Carrier Locking
While in a lot of situations, Teradek provides carrier "steered" networks (meaning we prioritize a carrier for you on the sim), Standard Data supports carrier locking for other networks using Prism.
1. From the web UI, navigate to the Network menu and select the corresponding Modem.
2. Select the slot with the SIM you will be using
3. Select Teradek Standard Data from the Configuration drop-down menu.
4. Click the Carrier Lock tab.
Click the Carrier Lock Tab and enter in your PLMN code for the carrier you want. Please reference what services are available for your specific country.
Third-Party Modems
The Standard Data sim requires APN to function and for roaming to be on. In third party modems enter in the APN below. Carrier selection may be supported if the modem and attached device support scan or PLMN entry capabilities.
