Custom Carrier Locking

Updated on

What is carrier locking?

Carrier locking uses what is called a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN for short) to force register a sim to a network. This is similar to scanning and registering on your phone but far more exact. PLMN registration can only be used with SIMs that support multiple carriers and are usually "Roaming" sims.

Teradek Provides the following sims:

  • Standard Data sims
  • Priority Data Triple Carrier Sim
  • Priority Data Europe sims
  • Priority Data Japan

Sims like Priority Data that are NATIVE carrier sims cannot use multicarrier.

How to Carrier Lock?

Find your PLMN Code

Note: Cube / Vidiu Go only support Teradek Priority Data carrier locking in the United States.
