Connecting CTRL.5 to Ethernet
Note: To connect your CTRL.5 via Ethernet, you will need to purchase a 5-pin USB to Ethernet adapter here.
1. Connect your CTRL.5 to a router or camera using a 5-pin USB-to-Ethernet adapter.
2. Navigate to Settings → Network and select Ethernet on the CTRL.5.
3. Enable Ethernet Mode. Note: Enabling Ethernet mode will disable support for SmallHD monitors.
4. Select an IP Mode:
- DHCP: CTRL.5 requests an IP address and configuration from the network’s DHCP server when set to DHCP.
- Static: In static, you may manually configure the IP address, subnet mask, domain, gateway, and DNS server to connect to the network.
- Enter the IP address shown on the controller in your web browser’s navigation bar to access the web UI.
